Project Overview
This is a public area wall renovation project at Väla Shopping Center, Ödåkra, Sweden, covering about 800㎡. The original cement walls were monotonous, rough and lack of design, inconsistent with the mall’s high-end simple positioning. Party A chose our 3D plastic wall panels to create 3D effect, ensure easy construction and durability, and upgrade wall texture.Before Renovation: Shortcomings of Cement Walls
Before renovation, the cement-plastered walls were dull, rough, dust-prone and hard to clean. Affected by Northern Europe’s humid climate, they were easy to get damp and moldy with high maintenance costs, failing to form a visual highlight and lowering the space grade.
During Renovation: Implementation of 3D Plastic Wall Panels
We adopted eco-friendly modified plastic wall panels (formaldehyde-free, odorless) with wood-grain 3D texture, installed by special glue. No complex treatment of original walls was needed; construction efficiency was 60% higher than local traditional decoration, dust-free, noise-free, and without affecting mall operation.
After Renovation: Stunning 3D Effect
Completed in 15 days, the walls were completely transformed. The clear 3D texture with rich layers fits Northern European aesthetics, becoming a visual focus and driving customer check-in. The panels are waterproof, stain-resistant, moisture-proof, easy to clean and anti-aging, solving cement wall pain points and reducing maintenance
